Salary Range:
Cybersecurity, vulnerabilities, security assessments, technical proficiency, unauthorized access, security policies, penetration testing, firewalls, VPNs, disaster recovery, CISSP, CISM, analytical mindset, problem∙solving, communication skillsPerform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to detect weaknesses.
Develop and implement security policies and protocols.
Coordinate security plans with outside vendors.
Advise on security enhancements and propose relevant solutions.
Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Manage the response to information security incidents.
Stay updated on the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a cybersecurity role.
Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, web∙proxy, and security audits.
Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods.
Planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
Analytical mindset with strong problem∙solving skills.
Detail∙oriented with a proactive approach to addressing potential security issues.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
The role may require being on call outside of normal working hours and responding to security emergencies.
Occasional travel to attend training, conferences, or work with external vendors.
